Aquashield – The Enviorment
admin
It is believed that the process of concrete manufacturing is one of the biggest contributors to the rise in carbon dioxide emissions. They are the result of the levels of heat used in the breakdown of limestone in the process.
The global ramifications of the environmental cost of the concrete manufacturing process are said to be considerable. It is felt that almost 2% of British emissions 5% of anthropogenic CO2 emissions around the world are due to the making of cement.
It is also considered that the remainder of the carbon dioxide emissions are made up of a combination of energy consumed by various sources from fossil fuels to coke, petroleum coke, coal and electricity.
There is a vast amount of energy used up in firing, as apart of the construction of clay tiles. This has also lead to a build up in carbon Dioxide emissions.
However Aquashield has delivered a pioneering procedure designed to eliminate the necessity for re-roofing and preserving all of the wood and timber that is used. It entails the battens being recycled without having to be replaced, reducing clutter and waste.
We are also committed to the eradication of dangerous, unhealthy chemicals being used in the application and maintenance of timber.
We are also dedicated to retaining and re-using tiles in situ, to provide an environmental alternative.
This could be an alternative to a new roof and is all part of the good work done by Aquashield Ltd.
